Who is it?

Alan Davidson was born in Dundee and has just returned home after 10 years living and working as a professional pianobar entertainer in Norway. The Norwegian piano bar circuit is the highest level of work for pianoentertainers in the world. During this period in Norway Alan played in every major pianobar in the country, has toured on the UKs Jumpin Jacks Clubs , played many times in Gleneagles Golf Hotel and also appeared on TV's Stars In Their Eyes.

He started working as a professional musician in 1985 in London pub and club bands, but has also worked in many other areas of the entertainment industry as a Singer, Session Guitarist, keyboard/pianoplayer, Kareoke Host and comedy entertainer.

The Norwegians have a pianobar in almost every town thats is open 6 nights a week. Early to midweek its a bit laid back but Friday & Saturday its the liveliest show in town and its a great alternative to a disco. Every type of music is performed live, no pre-recorded backing tracks, mini disc players, backing vocals, etc everything is played live there and then. It makes for a very lively and spontainious performance.
